April Edited
An Edited List — including a men's cotton pant & a multitasking natural cleaner — plus an exploration of hydrogen water, and more.
Clockwise from left:
Primrose Hat: For those of us ladies always looking for chic, shielding hats.
Cymbiotika Liposomal Creatine+: I take this liposomal version to support strength, but also because there’s compelling research that creatine supports cognition. Studies here & here.
Après Pant: An organic cotton option for the guys in a range of colors.
Sal Suds: I love this multitasking, biodegradable cleaner that can be used on your car, floors, laundry, and more. Full list and dilution guide here.
DIY Soft Scrub:
¼ c. (60 mL) Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds
3⅓ c. (800 g) baking soda
1 c. (240 mL) water
¼ c. (60 mL) distilled white vinegar
Baume des Muses Ivoire: Waiting to purchase & personalize this clean balm (shea butter, castor oil, sesame oil) during a trip this summer.
Extendable Magazine/Record Rack: For your collection display.
Luggage Tag: Available in a range of leather colors and can be customized with gold embossed initials. This tag has held up for me after years of use.
Gary Brecka with a focus on Molecular Hydrogen
This epiosode has many health takeaways, but the biggest reminder for me was Brecka’s take on hydrogen gas, citing it’s ability to reduce inflammation and improve circulation and memory. He also notes it’s an affordable biohack; about $1 per day using the H2 tablets he mentions, with other similarly priced options on the market including Cymbiotika’s Molecular Hydrogen and Quicksilver Scientific’s H2 Elite®.
Hydrogen uses the body's homeostatic process to suppress inflammation.
It affects a protein called NRF2, which moves into the DNA, binds to the DNA, and then the DNA spits out the instructions for catalase, superoxide dismutase, and glutathione… using the body's regulatory system to actually control inflammation, instead of externally trying to control. - Brecka
Here’s a link to the study he mentions on the effects of hydrogen-rich water on aging published in the Experimental Gerontology journal, October 2021.
A newsletter from Besides The Revolution on homeschooling.
A newsletter from The Circadian Classroom on breakfast and circadian biology.
Take care this weekend. - Briana

Love Brecka and take his aminos! Thanks for reminder on the hydrogen tablets. They make a noticeable difference mentally. And can’t wait to try the DIY soft scrub. Keep the good stuff coming!! 🙏🏼💗
